Privacy policy
WaggyTag is operated by Nexus Print Services. This notice explains what we collect and why. It is written for customers in the United Kingdom.
What we collect
Account name, email address, password (stored only as a hash) and, if you choose, a telephone number for your account. For each pet we ask for the pet's name, whether they are a dog or cat, the public contact name and telephone number you authorise, and any optional photograph or message.
We do not ask for your home address on the pet profile. A delivery address is collected only when you buy a tag from this website, so the tag can be sent. It is not shown on the public page.
The public page
Anyone with the tag, or the web address, can see the details you mark as public. That address is not a secret. The activation code is separate and is not written to the NFC chip.
Payments
Card details are taken by PayPal when you subscribe on this website. WaggyTag does not store card numbers. We store the amount, date, sales channel and entitlement that PayPal, or an administrator recording an external sale, confirms.
How long we keep information
You can delete your account. We then remove the pet profile and public contact details. Orders and payments are retained in anonymised form so we can keep a financial record. An expired membership can keep showing the last details you authorised, until you switch that off or delete the account.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion, using the contact page. You can also change the public profile yourself while your membership is active, and you can correct it after expiry.
Before launch, add the registered address, company number and contact email in the server configuration. Those details are intentionally not invented here.
